Dr. Anna Levi is a California licensed psychologist. She has a Doctorate Degree in Psychology and 20 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy to adults and families, and performing psychological assessments for clients of all ages. In her private practice, Dr. Levi provides psychological evaluations and therapy to adults and couples dealing with relationship difficulties, depression, anger, grief, anxiety, eating disorder, compulsive behavior and addictions. She is skilled in several theoretical orientations and chooses approaches that best suit her clients’ needs. Psychological testing in the private practice includes objective and personality testing, cognitive and memory testing, as well as Rorschach/MMPI-2/TAT assessments of emotional functioning.
Dr. Levi also works as a vendor Psychologist at NLAC Regional Center where she conducts psychological assessments of intellectual abilities, academic screening, tests for developmental disorders, such as autism. She is sometimes invited to court proceedings as a psychologist-expert witness. She previously worked for group practice, school and two hospitals providing psychotherapy and conducting comprehensive diagnostic testing of children and adults, giving recommendations to other professionals, and leading therapy groups. Dr. Levi led Eating Disorder groups and started a new Chemical Dependency family group in the hospital that is currently attended by more than 60 families every week.
