Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Golden State Psychological Services, Inc. website at the domain on which this page is hosted (the "Site"). By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, including by submitting an intake form or sending an email through links on the Site, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Site on behalf of another person, for example a parent inquiring about services for a child, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the person you represent agrees to be bound by these Terms.
About This Website
This Site is operated by Golden State Psychological Services, Inc., a California-based psychological assessment and therapy practice located in North Hollywood, California. The Site is intended to provide general information about our practice, services, and approach; to allow prospective clients to inquire about scheduling an assessment, therapy, or training opportunity; and to share general educational content about psychological assessment.
The Site is informational and is not a substitute for professional clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Visiting this Site, reading its contents, sending an email through a link on the Site, or submitting the intake form does not by itself create a psychologist-patient, doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other professional treatment relationship between you (or anyone you are inquiring about) and Dr. Anna Levi, any associate of the practice, or Golden State Psychological Services, Inc.
A clinical relationship is established only after an intake conversation, mutual agreement to work together, completion of required intake paperwork including informed consent, and where applicable, financial arrangements being confirmed in writing.
Until such a relationship is established, information on this Site or shared with us through the Site should not be relied on as professional advice specific to your situation. General educational content on the Site, including blog posts, is not, and should not be construed as, a clinical recommendation for any individual.
Emergencies and Crisis
This Site is not for emergencies. If you or someone you are concerned about is in immediate danger, experiencing a psychiatric emergency, or having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, do not use the intake form or wait for an email reply. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. For Los Angeles County, call the ACCESS Center at 1-800-854-7771.
Permitted Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful personal and informational purposes. You agree not to use the Site or its contents for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our servers, or any related systems or networks; interfere with or disrupt the Site or any servers or networks connected to it, for example by attempting denial-of-service attacks, sending excessive automated requests, or attempting to defeat security measures; use any robot, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our prior written permission, except for non-commercial search engine indexing in accordance with our robots metadata; submit false or misleading information through the intake form, or impersonate another person; use the Site or any materials accessible through it to develop or train any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence system; or copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
Your Submissions
When you send us information through the intake form, by email, or by other means, you represent that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge, and that you have any necessary authority to share it, for example parental authority to share information about a minor child.
By submitting information to us through the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that information for the limited purposes described in our Privacy Policy, primarily responding to your inquiry and providing services if a clinical relationship is established. This license does not authorize public disclosure or any use outside the practice.
Please do not send sensitive health, diagnostic, or psychological information through the intake form or by unencrypted email. Submissions through the Site are not encrypted end-to-end and should not be treated as a confidential clinical channel until a clinical relationship is established and confidential communication channels are arranged.

The content of this Site, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, illustrations, page layouts, and the selection and arrangement of all of the above, is owned by Golden State Psychological Services, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. The Site and its contents are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden State Psychological Services, Inc. disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Golden State Psychological Services, Inc., Dr. Anna Levi, its associates, agents, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or any damages resulting from your reliance on any information obtained from the Site. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Nothing in these Terms is intended to disclaim or limit any liability that cannot be disclaimed or limited under applicable law, including but not limited to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of professional licensing obligations. California residents are advised that this limitation may not apply to certain claims to the extent California law provides otherwise.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Golden State Psychological Services, Inc., Dr. Anna Levi, and its associates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or information you submit through the Site that is false, misleading, infringes the rights of any third party, or otherwise violates law.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in these Terms limits the authority of the California Board of Psychology or any other regulatory body with jurisdiction over the practice.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please stop using the Site.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Golden State Psychological Services, Inc. with respect to your use of the Site, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings on that subject. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
